SANADAK and the Middle East and North Africa Evangelical Alliance signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

SANADAK and the Middle East and North Africa Evangelical Alliance signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two parties to achieve noble humanitarian goals in the Middle East and North Africa region, reflecting their shared commitment to support orphaned children and the most vulnerable groups. The signing was represented by Rev. Dr Jack Sara, Secretary General of the MENA Evangelical Alliance, and Mrs. Nisreen Hawatmeh the founder of SANADAK.
The agreement comes within the framework of unifying efforts between SANADAK, which seeks to support orphans and vulnerable children psychologically, academically, and spiritually, and the Evangelical Alliance, which works to promote cooperation between churches and evangelical organizations to address social and humanitarian issues. The MoU outlines four main objectives: empowering orphaned and vulnerable children through joint programs and initiatives aimed at improving their psychological, academic, and spiritual well-being; supporting caregivers by providing resources and skills to enhance their resilience and role in caring for children; and strengthening the capacity of local churches and organizations to meet the needs of orphaned children in a sustainable and effective manner.

Nisreen Hawatmeh, founder of SANADAK, said that this partnership represents a new beginning for a joint ministry that embodies Christ’s love and mission to care for orphans and family members and support caregivers in the region. It is a call for churches to be light and salt in the community by promoting awareness among their members and engaging in initiatives and programs that reflect the heart of Christ in caring for children and embracing their needs.
‘This agreement is not just a collaboration document, but a response to the Gospel call to work together to bring about real and sustainable change in the lives of those most in need of God’s love and the attention of His people,’ said Rev. Dr Jack Sara.
The agreement covers several areas that reflect the vision of both parties, including joint programs such as awareness campaigns and training courses for caregivers and community leaders, the development of psychological, educational and spiritual support programs for children, including mentoring and life skills building. Sharing experiences, resources, data, materials and best practices to ensure the quality of services and programs is improved. In addition to focusing on promoting and defending children’s rights and supporting policies that promote the well-being of orphans and vulnerable children.
